Recreation of a Cultural Headpiece: A 19th C. Russian Kokoshnik

The goal of this project was to create a recreation of a historical headdress for the stage. I choose a 19th century Russian Kokoshnik, via the Met Museum. This headdress was entirely hand stitched, using millinery and beading application techniques.
